Introduction to our R&D Vertical Farm
The Egreen Farming Solution (EGFS) vertical farm located in the heart of Budapest is a multi-site Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) facility with professional research, development and innovation staff.
OUR FACILITIES
We have an accumulated growth area of 150 m2. Our vertical farms are equipped with a single nutrient circulating system and a fertigation unit.
They also have their independent HVAC unit, CO2 dosing and monitoring system. They range from three to five stories the tray sizes from 0.4 m2 to 2.7 m2. The sensors are measuring the room’s CO2 level, temperature(C°) and relative humidity (RH%), temperature and relative humidity above every single tray and also the temperature of the nutrient.
The monitoring system watches over the EC and pH levels of the nutrient as well as the water’s flow and pressure in the pipes.
POWERGROW SOFTWARE
Evergreen’s IT solution monitors and remotely controls the environment and the daily operation of indoor farms.
Includes remote management on Android, iOS and Windows platforms to monitor and and verify the functioning of the control equipments through a web interface, as well as statistics and alerts. AI and machine learning solutions using the data collected by the sensors in the growing areas currently under development.
